About Association Of Canadian Safety Professionals
Association of Canadian Safety Professionals (ACSP) is a public interest not-for-profit organization, founded in 2015 with an exclusive focus on Recent Graduates and Internationally Trained Newcomer Safety Professionals’ in Ontario.
ACSP firmly believes in the key role played by safety professionals in prevention of workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities and upholds this as its organizational vision. Currently, the profession of Occupational Health and Safety is a non-regulated one in Canada and recent graduates and newcomer safety professionals seem to face many challenges in pursuit of pursuing this as a profession. ACSP is taking the lead to provide exclusive mentorship and support to recent graduates and internationally trained newcomer safety professionals to help build their profession on a strong foundation.
